The process of becoming a hairstylist wasn’t always easy. Working full time and going to school was a challenge in itself. When I passed State Board I was relieved and excited!

There were times when I wanted to throw in the towel. When I thought maybe I need to do something else? But I had a voice inside me that said to keep going.

I spent the next decade growing my clientele and learning how to navigate my own business. I had finally felt the moment when it all came together!!! It was the moment I knew that last 10 years was worth all the ups and downs.

As I hit my 20-year milestone, I have evolved into a new version of myself and my career!

I decided to switch gears and become a totally non toxic hair salon. I wanted to offer my guest a safe alternative to the traditional hair color and styling products, but still have amazing results. I knew this would be important to not only my own health, but my guest.

It’s remarkable that sometimes you have to take what’s not serving you well anymore and transform it to what is! I’m proud of my hills and valleys, because without them I wouldn’t be who I am today!!

Twenty Years of Passion and Purpose

I can honestly say I always knew I wanted to be a hairstylist. As far as I remember, I would play with my Barbies and baby dolls hair. When I wasn’t doing that, I was practicing on my classmates and friends.

Making others feel and look beautiful gave me so much joy.
